
In April 2008 the Alliance B91 team won the U16 California Cup, sponsored by US Club Soccer and operated by the Coast Soccer League. The Alliance B91 boys qualified for the US Club Soccer National Cup regional tournament June 21-24, 2008 in San Bernardino. The team is coached by Pete Fox and managed by Marc Pasquini. |
| U18 BOYS TAKE CUP WITH TWO GOALS FROM "LAMAZING" Alliance B90 won the U19 division of the North South Challenge Cup Championship held at the Kern County Soccer Park on Labor Day weekend. BASC beat the Lamont Tornados 2-1. Ryan 'Lamazing' Lamay, scored twice for BASC. Lamay's first goal was a left footed shot that was bent around the diving Tornado keepers' out stretched arms. The Tornados tied the game just before half time with a penalty kick. The second half was hard fought. The Tornados applied pressure that caused Alliance goalkeeper Ricardo Rodriquez to come up with exceptional saves. Ryan Lamazing Lamay headed home a corner kick from Eric Hurst with 10 minutes left in the match. Congratulations to the Alliance B90s!!! |

Martin was a coach at Chivas and had coached at Damien High School in La Verne, CA. DOC Pete Fox had visited with Martin when he was with Guadalajara in Mexico during CAL-South ODP Spring camps. | Alliance 90 Player Named to U.S. Naval Academy Current BASC 90 player Mike Golich has been named to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Mike plays sweeper for the BASC 90 boys team that is coached by Joe Hall. Mike plays for Frontier High during the high school season. Congratulations Mike! |

| Alliance 87 Player Selected #32 in Major League Soccer draft January 15, 2009 BASC alumnus Quincy Amarikwa, a former team member of Alliance 87, was selected in the third round by the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. (MLS) The draft was held in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the overall 32nd selected player. Quincy played for many years with the Alliance until his departure from Liberty High School to U.C. Davis. His parents are Charles and Veronica Amarikwa. Quincy made an impact at U.C. Davis the past four years. This 2008 fall season Quincy was named the Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He also earned the Men's NCAA player of the week twice. One particular week he scored the winning goals against conference rivals Cal State Fullerton and U.C. Santa Barbara. The Alliance 87 team was primarily coached by Francis Gangle and managed by Juan Ramos. The club wishes Quincy a healthy and productive training camp when he joins the Earthquakes. Read More...... Quincy had the lone game winning goal in the pre-season match against the Portland Timbers. Quincy was signed to a contract out of U.C. Davis. | Quincy earns his first start and assist May 27, 2009 Quincy Amarikwa, Alliance 87 player has continued to show promise in the MLS. Quincy had his first start of his MLS career Wednesday night in Columbus against the Crew. The assist came in the 23rd minute when Quincy received a cross and chested the ball down to teammate Ryan Johnson who finished the ball. Quincy was signed to a contract out of U.C. Davis. |
